Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our mountain team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
A detailed briefing and equipment check will be conducted to prepare for the challenging climb ahead.
What to expect: Warm welcome, thorough briefing, and rest before trekking.

Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
After breakfast, drive to Umbwe Gate for registration.
Begin the climb through dense rainforest on a steep and narrow trail.
What to expect: Immediate steep ascent, forest environment, and physically demanding terrain.

Accommodation: Umbwe Camp (camping)
Day 3: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
Continue climbing along ridges with dramatic drops and stunning views.
The trail gradually opens as you approach Barranco Valley.
What to expect: Challenging hiking, exposure to altitude, and impressive scenery.

Accommodation: Barranco Camp (camping)
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
After breakfast, climb the Barranco Wall, a steep but non-technical scramble.
Continue toward Karanga Camp across ridges and valleys.
What to expect: Physical climbing, panoramic views, and improved acclimatization.

Accommodation: Karanga Camp (camping)
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Climb steadily toward Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt.
This day allows time to rest and prepare for the summit night.
What to expect: Cold temperatures, slow pace, and early rest.

Accommodation: Barafu Camp (camping)
Day 6: Summit Day – Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak
Begin the summit attempt around midnight, climbing toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
Reach the summit at sunrise before beginning descent to lower altitude.
What to expect: Very demanding climb, mental endurance, and a rewarding summit moment.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: Camping at lower altitude or hotel (depending on descent plan)
Day 7: Final Descent & Departure
Continue descending through lower zones to the park exit gate.
Transfer back to Moshi or Arusha, then onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
What to expect: Easier downhill walking and completion of the climb.
