Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
A full briefing and equipment check will be done to prepare you for the climb.
What to expect: Warm welcome, gear check, and rest before trekking.

Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
After breakfast, drive to Rongai Gate near the Kenyan border to complete park registration.
Begin the climb through forest and farmland, with chances to see wildlife such as colobus monkeys.
What to expect: Gentle ascent, quiet trails, and first night on the mountain.

Accommodation: Simba Camp (camping)
Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp
Continue climbing through moorland with open views of the mountain.
The trail becomes steeper but remains manageable at a steady pace.

Day 4: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn
Climb toward Mawenzi Tarn, located below the dramatic Mawenzi Peak.
This area offers stunning views and is important for acclimatization.

Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn to Kibo Camp
After breakfast, cross the alpine desert toward Kibo Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt.
The landscape becomes dry and rocky with wide open views.
What to expect: Slow walking, preparation for summit night, and early rest.

Day 6: Summit Day – Kibo Camp to Uhuru Peak & Descent
Begin the summit attempt around midnight, climbing toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
After reaching the summit at sunrise, descend via the Marangu Route and transfer back to your hotel.
What to expect: Challenging summit climb, rewarding views, and long descent.
