Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
A full briefing and equipment check will be conducted to prepare for the climb.
What to expect: Warm welcome, gear check, and rest before starting the climb.

Day 2: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate to complete park registration.
Begin the climb through lush rainforest where you may see monkeys and dense vegetation.
What to expect: Gentle ascent, forest trail, and first night in a mountain hut.

Accommodation: Mandara Hut
Day 3: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Leave the forest behind and enter the heath and moorland zone.
Enjoy views of Mawenzi Peak and open landscapes as altitude increases.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut
Climb gradually across the alpine desert toward Kibo Hut, located at the base of the summit cone.

Day 5: Summit Day – Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak & Return to Horombo Hut
Begin the summit attempt around midnight, climbing toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
After reaching the summit at sunrise, descend back to Horombo Hut for rest.
What to expect: Challenging summit climb, cold temperatures, and rewarding views.

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate & Departure
After breakfast, descend through the rainforest to Marangu Gate.
You will then be transferred back to Moshi or Arusha and onward to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
